Color for Tessa

There was a benefit 5K run called Color for Tessa a while back.  Chad, Melanie, Colby, & Tricia ran the 5K and Hayden & Austin ran the 1 mile kid's fun walk/run.  It was a fun event!  It was the first 5K of the year, so they were all excited! It was for such a beautiful cause. You can watch Tessa's story here if you'd like- it is really touching.
 And Hayden's off...
He was supposed to be sticking by Austin, but he didn't (which I suppose is in true sibling fashion).  It was hilarious because at one point he looked back to check on Austin, apparently could not find him, and decided to keep on running anyway!
Austin's feet were all in motion.

Hayden crossed the finish line @ 8:51

 Austin finished strongly at 10:37
Both boys' times were quite impressive!

Why hello Colby & Hannah (who is shielded by the stroller cover)

Chad finished strong (they all did wonderfully)!  All of them were a bit disappointed with their times, but after discussing the course, they decided that it was in fact further than a 5K.  All I know is that they all did awesome (and much better than I could ever do)!
 Brotherly, sisterly love!
Nothing beats a baby brother and a big sister picture :)

Mel & Colby looking terrific after the race!

Oh, a side note, you may be wondering what's up with the splashes of color.  Well, there were volunteers all along the route throwing packets of color on the runners (hence, Color for Tessa).
