a typical week... in pictures!

We've had your typical, average, type ofweek.  There were some fun things we did; so, I thought I'd share those fun, little and seemingly simple, yet beautiful moments we enjoyed :-)

Cheesing so big her sweet baby blues are closed!
Smiley!  Her new favorite thing during our bedtime routine is getting her "mommy glass with water and a straw!"

I LOVE those blue eyes.  They make me melt :-)

Chloe & Halle "sleeping" in my bed!  We've loved having Halle come to play on Thursdays!

Chloe is "playing" with Berkley.  Umm, I think not!!

Our beautiful pink Mums- here are the pictures I promised, Gram!
And these are our yellow ones.  I really like the fact that the colors are unique.
We recently set out our Halloween decor.  I simply adore my kitty I made at Make It With Mandy!
Berkley being typical... eating (even though it is just play eating, this girl is ALWAYS eating something)!!
Aww!  I love her cute, scrunched up face :-)

Another edition of Chloeisms

Ah, Chloe is such a hilarious little girl.  She continues to come up with some of the silliest, most hilarious, and sometimes inappropriate things to say!  Enjoy :-)

Chloe:  Those flies are making babies!
Me: Who told you that?
Chloe: Daddy!

Chloe, while we were driving home from the library: Sometimes when cars honk, they are being mean. When they do that Daddy says, "You idiot!" What else does Daddy call people, Mommy?

While listening to Raffi in the car: "Willaby wallaby Wennis, an elephant sat on Dennis"
Chloe: Hey, that's my grandpa!

Chloe: Where's Daddy?
Me: Where do you think he is?
Chloe: Probably he went to the toilet by himself

After church one Sunday, Chloe handed me the picture she colored in Nursery...
Chloe: Here Mommy, hold my picture so it doesn't get winded

While eating dinner...
Chad: Remember we need your help cleaning after dinner
Chloe: Well, maybe you (pointing at us) can clean while I watch my movie.  Would that work?

I sat down with Chloe the other afternoon to look online at Halloween costumes.  She decided she wanted the most expensive Jasmine outfit (which we are currently working on a cheaper alternative way to create)...
Chloe: What I want to be for Halloween is Jasmine.  Then you can help me put the boob things through my feet!
(If you are unfamiliar with Princess Jasmine, she wears a "shirt" that "covers" her chest.  This is what she is referring to when saying the boob things)

Yesterday we were at Taylors' visiting and were getting ready to leave.  Chloe said her goodbyes and walked outside.  Chad & I worked on gathering our things and getting Berkley bundled for our walk home, when Wendi told us that Chloe was wandering around outside the front of the house.  Chad went outside to call her back...
Chad: Hey, get away from the road.  What are you doing?!
Chloe: I can't figure out where the heck the Jeep is!
(Hahaha!  She forgot that we walked and was searching for the Jeep... it was hilarious!)

What we've been up to...

We haven't really been up to much lately, even though it may seem like we have.
Berkley LOVES corn, especially raw corn on the cob.  Yes, I know, it sounds gross, but she eats it!
The girls were jumping on pillows and blankets while my mom came to visit us!  They had fun!
Ok, so she thought getting into the toy basket would be a good idea!  She said "Cheese!" and fell over!  Hahaha!
Big, big beautiful blues!  Love this little babe!!
And this was when it was still warm at our house!  The girls love riding bikes & trikes!
Berkley was cussing Chloe out because she was in her way.  Chad, of course, was laughing :-)
Chef Berkley cooking up some waffles and pizza in the sink :-)  I love kids' creativity & imagination
This is Chloe clearly telling me that she didn't want me to take her picture, but that she wanted to do my hair instead!
Aww!  Such a cute little toddler (I still want to call her a baby, but she so obviously is not)!!
Halle came over to play while Wendi helped in Gid & Grace's class.  They had fun playing instruments...
... and "cleaning" my floor with our child-sized mops & brooms!  Berk even joined in the play!
Here are the much asked for pictures of our house (minus our bedroom).  The kitchen...
... and once again from another view.
Our living/front room from one side...
... and from the other (this is what is behind our couch)
 The bathroom from this angle...
... and again from this one.
The girls' room, and yes, it was SUPER messy, but I just can't seem to keep it clean long enough to take a picture!  This is the mess Chloe, Berk, and Halle made.  It's big, but at least they had fun!
And their room from another view.
This is an obviously snowy tree that Chad, Brian, and Alan saw while they were tracking a moose.  They all learned an important lesson- never leave the truck without supplies.  They got "disoriented" in the fog while following moose tracks and ended up hiking over 9 miles in 6 inches of snow with 30 something degree temps and snow/rain on and off for almost 5 hours.  Wow!  We're just glad they found their way and were safe!

Our big, exciting, fun, and sort of crazy while Chad was on his hunting trip trip!

We had SO much fun visiting my family while Chad went on his annual hunting trip!  Here are quite a few pictures of the fun things we did while we were on our trip.  Some of the pictures do have small black or grey dots in different places; please bear with us!  Chad can actually remove them with Photoshop, but he doesn't always have the time to do it, and I have never really paid any attention when he's done it, so I don't know what I'm doing!  Thanks, and enjoy!
Chloe dancing with her Dance With Me Ballerina doll my mom got for her!
We were lucky to have Mike come & spend the night while we were visiting!  Chloe absolutely loves Mike, in fact, she cried when he left, and Berkley really warmed up to him (not like that should surprise anyone)!  It was fun, as always, with Mike around.  He's going to be an awesome dad when that day comes!  We were also so happy to have Emily down for the day.  The girls love her, too, and had fun playing with playdough and reading stories with Aunt Em!  I'm sad that I didn't think about taking a picture until about 15 minutes after she left... Next time we will get some!
Mike proudly showing off his two sweet nieces

On Saturday my parents took us to Tanner's Orchard, and it was SO much fun!  We had yummy food, lots of fun & play, and got to take some delicious snacks home!!
Berk riding on a pink tractor

This girl LOVES tractors

And yet another tractor
Berkley found another mode of transportation that she doesn't mind... minature horses!

I took the girls on a double pedal car, which didn't amount to much help... thanks, Chloe!

After my turn, the girls wanted to go with Mom.  I love Berk's little front seat!

The butterfly wasn't quite as exciting as the train car Berkley could see.

Totally. Freaking. Out!  She was up a little too high for comfort in the train!

She happily made her way out of the bales of hay maze! Yipee!

A bus riding beauty

Loving the firetruck!

I've seen this work before.  You do something sort of like this... Haha!

She rode on this "train" for almost 15 minutes.  I was proud and impressed :-)

Showing off all of the pumpkins!

Haha!  She actually attempted to sit on one!
My Mom decided that Chloe might have fun steering the riding lawn mower around the yard, oh and was she ever right!  Berkley enjoyed riding, too!  What fun they had, and neither one wanted off

Mom & the girls

How fun!
For a good portion of the time we simply hung out at my parents, which was nice & fun!
Chloe just saw this and said, "Look, Mommy.  That's when I was a kitty!"

Me & Chloe being goofy!  I totally see Amity in her!

Eating (caramelcorn) again... :-)
We were also fortunate to spend a good deal of time at the grandma & grandpa with the donut holes'  (a.k.a Grandma Jackie (Gram) & Great Grandpa's) house!
I'm not sure what they were doing, but Chloe was talkative!

What a sweetie playing with the baby buggy!

Here Great Grandpa, I'll give you a push!

Beauty

(not so) Loving sisters

She's smelling the flowers, but it doesn't look like they smell the best
Both girls, but Berkley especially, loved playing the machine sheds and barns at my parents' house.

Pure joy!

Vroom, vroom tractor!

Riding with Grandma

Excited, and a bit anxious, perhaps, about sitting in the forklift?!
