Aftermath

Here I am after my first dinner of rice cereal- it was pretty good stuff, though it was probably because of the pear juice Mommy mixed in it (Dr. McKenna said it will help me avoid constipation)!

Yum! Rice Cereal!

Here are Chloe's first "bites" of rice cereal. Enjoy :-)

First "real" Food

Today I had my first real food- rice cereal! It was pretty yummy, & I was quite a mess. Mommy & Daddy thought I was funny! Dr. McKenna gave us the go ahead to feed her rice cereal once a day- he said it's more for entertainment & learning how to eat than calories and nutrition, so she's still taking just as many bottles as before! Chloe is now 24 inches long (though we have measured her at 25) and 13lbs. 13 oz- what a big girl she's becoming. Her immunizations were fine, though she did end up fussy and has been all day today with gas caused by the oral immunization. We're getting through it fine- she should be fine by tomorrow!

The Bottle Incident...

Talking with Grandpa

Swing!

Uncle Mike was playing with me in my swing. He was talking at first, but then he started to blow on my face. I looked like I was only excited, but I was actually trying to catch my breath when he blew in my face!

Rattle

This phone rattle is my favorite toy! Listen to me talk to it- I sure have lots to say!!

Uncle Mike and I

I sure enjoyed playing with Uncle Mike. He's so fun! Aren't we both so photogenic?!?

Me & Grandpa

Here I am hanging out with Grandpa- he's a pretty cool guy! He loves to play Peek-A-Boo with me, and I love it too :-)

Walker the Cat

Grandma & Grandpa have two cats- one's name is Walker, and the other's name is Ranger. Ranger pretty much never came around when I was awake- I don't think he liked me too much! But, Walker finally warmed up to me. Here we are one morning making friends.

Uncle Mike & my bottle

Uncle Mike decided that he'd give giving me my bottle a try! He was so funny- look how focused he is in the first picture! He's a pretty hilarious guy :-)

Flower Girl

Thanks Uncle D and Aunt Rhonda for this adorable headband! Look, the flower is almost as big as my head- haha! It's so hard to be this cute :-)

Just Being Silly!

Here I am being silly at Grandma & Grandpa's. I LOVE to stand!!

Chillin' at Grandma & Grandpa's

Yep, that's right, I traveled all the way to Illinois to see my family there! Wow- it was a long trip, but I was a very good girl :-) Look at the way my silly daddy wrapped me up- he's such a gomer!

In my Diaper

I love to just hang out in my diaper, especially if it's warm outside :-) Look closely and you'll see my very first sunburn- ouch!

Sunny Day

Today was such a sunny day, so Mommy decided that I should wear yellow! Isn't my blue and yellow bow adorable?!? Don't tell him I told you, but Daddy made it for me :-)

Little Ladybug

Here I am, cute as can be, in my lady bug capri outfit! No wonder Daddy has always called me bug!

Many Hats...

Oh the many things we do when we're tired but not ready to go to bed! The other night Chloe decided that she wasn't ready for bed after having her last bottle of the day. So, we broke out several of the hats she had that had been too small for her head. That's not the case anymore!

Oh No- Not Again!!

Yep, it's unfortunate, but Chloe got another cold. Luckily, this cold wasn't quite as bad as the first- she wasn't wheezing at all, which is great. We probably wouldn't have to do her breathing treatments, but because we're going on our trip next week, Dr. McKenna said that we should to make sure that we don't have to travel with a sick baby! The only plus about going in to see him was that we found out that Chloe is growing well- she's 12 lbs. 12 oz!!

My 1st pony tail

Mommy & Daddy bought me these awesome baby rubberbands so that I can have a pony tail! Yay- it's so cute!
