Bowling in action

Chloe had so much fun, and here's just a clip of her excitement! She got sort of distracted when Chad went to fetch her ball, then she saw me and was acting like her silly self! It was so fun watching her; we plan on going again before the alley closes once it warms up!

On a hilarious side note, Chloe beat Chad by 2! He lost to her, bumper lane and all :-)

Chloe's first bowling experience

Chloe was SO excited to go bowling! She even got her own little bowling shoes (the smallest size they had was her size)-- too cute!
Cheesing it up in excitement with daddy!
Here she is showing how excited she is that she knocked over some pins. For the purpose of explanation (though the video I'll post will likely clear this up), the white ramp to her side is there for the ball to sit on. This way she just pushes it down the ramp and it's sure to make it to the pins!
Chloe pushing the ball down the ramp-- she could hardly wait for everyone to take a turn before she could bowl again :-)

Dancing Ballernina :-)

Here's a cute little video of Chloe dancing like a "ballernina." Well, I should say that's how she thinks she's dancing because all I see is crazy dancing like she's listening to that song that goes, "I'm a maniac, maniac..." Haha!

Grandpa, I guess this one's for you since you did request "one of those talking pictures!"

Pillow suitcase

The other day Chloe randomly climbed into one of our pillowcases (she chose one of the ones that Chad made for our bed, by the way). She kept talking about snuggling in "Mommy's pillow suitcase!" Despite the fact that I told her repeatedly that it was simply a pillowcase, the pillow suitcase stuck :-)

Candids

Today Chloe decided that she wanted to don her chef hat. I asked her if she wanted to wear her apron, but she brought me her scarf instead. She struggled to put it around her waist as an apron, so I helped her tie it! I love the expression she has :-)
What a gorgous little girl we have :-)
Chloe decided to switch to her cowboy hat. I asked her where she thought she'd go in her hat and she said to Kenny's house (for those of you who don't know Kenny he is one of our best friends-- he and Chad grew up together and his wife, Melanie, and I are great friends too)! Chloe kept talking about Kenny afterwards, saying, "Chloe like Kenny!" Haha-- she's got a little crush!
Bahaha! So this is her "are you kidding me?" look. She truly did not want any more pictures!
But, I got another cute picture in anyway! Look at that face-- perfect skin, beautiful eyes, and pristine lips. I have a feeling that Chad is going to have quite a few run ins with boys as Chloe gets older!!

Silly Sleeper

So one day Chloe wanted to play with the changing table cushion. I got it down, and she took the cover off. Then she said, "Little bed for Chloe!" She got a blanket and her little pillow and decided to "take a nap." She obviously did not sleep, but she sure was pretty comfy!

Looking glorious in green

Green is fabulous on Chloe, but it also helps with a pose this gorgeous! Look at those big beautiful blue eyes behind that blonde hair :-)
Is this a pose or what?! Love this one-- it looks like an album cover, in my opinion!!

Two small sewing projects

I'd forgotten the fact that I had made Chloe some felt donuts for her birthday, so this is why it's taken SO long to post the pictures! Well, let me rephrase that, they were SUPPOSED to be for her birthday, but we neglectfully left them in plain sight and she discovered them a few days before. Nevertheless, she likes them and I think they turned out pretty cute.
New baby project 1 is complete! I really despised the boring aspect of the cloth diapers we used as burp rags when Chloe was a baby, but I didn't know how to sew then. However, this time around I decided that we needed some cute burp rags! I found this super cute pattern for peanut-shaped frayed edge burp rags online, and I decided to give them a try. I love how they turned out, and I really love the Anna Maria Horner Folksy Flannels I chose :-) At least this baby will be able to spit up in style!

Another day attempting to get decent Chloe pictures

So, I've found that getting decent pictures of Chloe isn't always easy, but my pursuit of more pictures continues :-) Here she is "eating" cantelope. She loves to play with her kitchen and utensils; in fact, she usually makes me SO much food that it takes FOREVER to put it all away!
I know this picture isn't the best, but I really love how wavy/curly her hair looks-- wild and untamed, which is something I wish my hair was!

After she made me TONS of food, she decided to take her kitty for a walk. I guess since she's got her chin up you could say she was strutting...?
LOVE this face! She was in the middle of telling me about her kitty and the fact that they were walking to Dr. McKenna's office. Based upon the amount of time we spend playing the game of going to see Dr. McKenna, you'd think that she would enjoy the actual experience more!

"Where are you going, Chloe?"

I asked Chloe the question that is the title of this blog, to which she replied, "To Logan. Go get Daddy!" She had both of us get on our hats, shoes, and jackets. Then, she went into her room to choose a few things to take with her in the car. She stuffed two Little People into her pockets-- always a reliable choice for her :-)
As you can tell by this expression, she was not amused that I was taking her picture. Despite her desire for me to NEVER take her picture, I've been really trying to make it a point to take more pictures!
Haha! The look on her face shows the fact that she's not surprised that we're actually NOT going to Logan to get Daddy. She wasn't really upset, just disappointed to stay home all day! Oh how we all feel like that at times!
