And then there was cake...

Happily enjoying her cake! She did go after it, though she wasn't too crazy. Though, she really was happy to have her slice :-)
One of the first few bites!!

Happy 1st Birthday Berkley!

It's hard to believe that we celebrated Berkley's first birthday! She had a fabulous day with tons of fun gifts, and here are a few of them...

First, is the Rody horse from us. It's like a jumper ball in stationary horse form. She loves it, though I think Chloe likes it just as much!
Thoroughly enjoying the chair Bri, Wendi, and the kids gave her!

Super smiles to find a baby in the package from Mel & Colb :-)

An attempt at saying "hi" to Great Grandma & Grandpa Damerell on the phone!

Check out this book, Daddy!

Testing out the xylophone from Great Gram & Grandpa "with the donut holes," as Chloe calls them. This toy, as I expected, has been ever so popular among the girls!!

Berkley sort of forgot how to unwrap since Christmas, but she quickly warmed up and remembered what happened!

Lounging on the couch on her birthday

The adorable watermelon cake Chad decorated! The slice cut out was Berkley's piece :-)

And a side view

The red watermelon cupcakes with chocolate chip seeds!

Berkley, the goofball

Berkley and Chloe make each other laugh pretty much all the time. Here is a little tidbit of that, and Berk sticking out her tongue!

One morning a couple of weeks ago, Berk decided that this would be a good idea! It was cute and funny, until I had to put her in the tub to get her clean...

two too cute girls

It has been a LONG while since we've posted. So please enjoy our randomness that is so terribly cute :-)

Berkley LOVES our cereal cabinet, and we HATE it, for said reason above!
Being a ham playing outside!

She was cracking up! What an adorable profile :-)

One of many attempts of climbing up the slide even after repeated attempts to get her to "... go up the stairs, then down the slide."

"Take a picture of me being silly, Mommy!"

Did you catch it?! If not, please look for the extremely short cluster of hairs sticking up near the crown of Berk's head that can technically be called a ponytail... technically! This girly's hair will grow someday, at least I hope :-)

CHEESE!!!

Chewing on a taffy wrapper, posing goofy.

We love baby chub, oh, and cute outfits and accessories, too :-)

I pulled weeds, Chloe helped, and Berkley so obviously ate dirt!

Even princesses can be silly!!

Such a beautiful smile :-)

Hehe!

Chubby doing what she does best: eating!

at the park

Beautiful!

Doesn't she look like a princess gazing over the side of the "boat" into the sea??
Enjoying the merry-go-round

Anyone care for some metal??!!

To stinkin' cute!

Her silly pose is always the same: hand up and tongue out :-)

Berkley & Daddy getting ready to "wee" down the slide!

Chloe's turn to slide

Helping Berk on the bouncy tetter-totter thingamajigger! I LOVED this thing when I was little

:-)

Chloe adores swings!

Chloe loved spending time with "Grandma & Grandpa with the donut holes!"

We had a great trip and loved spending time with family and friends and, of course, being a part of Mike & Emily's wedding! We wish we could have visited longer, but we already look forward to visiting again! Thank you all for everything. We love you!!!

Playing Around

Best Friends!

I'm always so happy to see Darc walk through my parents' doors. It takes me back to my high school days and all the fun times we shared! Love you, Darci!!
Silly singer! And oh boy, can this girl make up a song. What an incredible imagination!

Love this darling little girl who loves to pose

Don't you just want to kiss those cute little cheeks?!?

Looking over her little baby shoulder...

Dad loves to rock-a-bye with Chloe. Then, out of the blue, Chloe says, "Grandpa, I want to rock-a-bye YOU!" Here is Grandpa "falling" out of the cradle!!

I think this proves where some of her silliness comes from ;-)

beautiful day

Last Wednesday afternoon was beautiful. I think these pictures are pretty beautiful, too.
sweetheart

I'm starting to think that this little sweetie is going to be a bit of a handful :-)

She looks like a little adult, definitely much older than three.

Precious!

Children's Museum

What are we going to do next?!

We really love the CM in Bloomington; in fact, it blows the Treehouse Museum in Ogden out of the water. This is Chloe's second trip and Berk's first. They have three levels full of fun things to do: a water table, art areas, play theatre, agriculture, slides, climbing structures, books, a grocery store, a pizza shop, and the list goes on! SO MUCH FUN!
Chloe enjoying the painting wall, as if that should surprise anyone! Painting is literally her favorite past-time.

Taking on the combine!

Berkley getting ready for Dentist Chloe and smiling nonetheless!

Our darling daughters

Brownie, anyone??

Berk was shopping for some bread. In fact, I think she literally "tasted" all of the bread in the bottom basket. To the workers at the museum, I apologize for all the loaves and slices of bread that we had to put in the yuck bucket :-)

Pumping some water at the water table. So fun!

Climbing all over the benches! I think she may be a little monkey!

This baby is really starting to like slides. Wahoo!
