Spaghetti

Cheese, er Spaghetti!!
Look at that adorable profile! Beautiful :-)
What a messy, messy face!

A rocking what? Elk?! Really??

Yes, it is in fact a rocking elk. No, not a horse, an elk! Great Grandma & Grandpa Damerell got this awesome rocking elk for me :-)
Here's a head shot- isn't he cool?!
I'm the only person I know who has a rocking elk & I've never even seen one!
Weeeeee!

Hooray for Christmas Day!

Here's my new blue spikey ball!
Wow! Look at all the toys I opened. This green ball is pokey!
Cool, a corn popper! Daddy had one when he was little, & he pushed his around whenever Grandma Taylor vacuumed!
A shape sorter, Uncle Mike!
I think I might finally have this present opening thing down!

Mommy had bad eyes...

As Chloe tired of the toys my Mom had for her- Santa had not come yet- I searched for something that she could play with. She loves to rip glasses off people's faces, so I thought I'd dig out some of my old glasses for her to play with. I think she liked them...
Whoa! I can't see a thing...
Why does everything look so silly?!?

Orange Sucker

Mmmmm, I like suckers! This orange one is delicious!
Superb-hehe!

Ice storm

Good luck getting into that car!
The ice on the trees tends to be really thick
Despite the trouble that these ice storms bring, it makes the trees look beautiful! This picture isn't as pretty as it could be- when the sun shines on the ice, it sparkles.

We pretty much arrived at my parents' after an ice storm and during a terrible wind storm. For those of you who follow the blog outside of Illinois, you won't believe the thickness of the ice in these pictures!

Lounging after a long flight

After a long day of travel to Grandma & Grandpa's, I needed to lounge. It looks like Daddy & Grandpa did too, though he didn't really have an excuse!!
Cute :-)

First the stocking!

I've seen this stocking hung for the past few weeks & I finally get to look inside! Whoa- I think I see something in there!!
I can reach in there & get what's inside, really?!?
Yay! Jumbo crayons for my chubby little hands- I love to have Mommy & Daddy help me hold pens to draw, but this is even better!
Ripping the paper is cool! Do you see my surprise? It's an animal book!

This is me opening my last stocking stuffer- I really loved ripping the paper. I got a book of opposites, and it's super silly!

Chloe's first peek at her gifts under the tree...

This video pretty much explains exactly how she felt about her first Christmas...

It's Christmas!

The jingle bells from my Mini Orchestra- I tried eating the bells & picking them off before I started playing!
What's in here? And why is there suddenly so much colored paper with stuff inside of it today?!
Look, I opened a bumpy ball- it feels kind of funny, but I think I like it!

Look at all those presents I got- I must've been a good girl! How cute is Chloe here in here Christmas tree jammies?! She got soft blocks, the Mini Orchestra, 2 bumpy balls, and some clothes. It was funny because she loved the blocks so much that she was uninterested in opening the boxes of clothes- I guess she had too much stimulation!

We had our Christmas with Chloe today because we will be in Illinois over the holiday & didn't want to drag all of our gifts for her with us to then drag/ship them back! To make a long story short, it's Christmas already for Chloe!

Lights @ Temple Square

The temple & lighted trees- how breathtakingly beautiful.
We have matching hats! (Chloe doesn't look extremely happy, it's probably because it was past her bedtime at this point)

"I love to see the temple..."
The yellow & red lights were outstanding (they were the brightest & prettiest, in my opinion).

The nativity on the reflection pool (this is located in front of the temple, so it would be below the view of the temple in the third picture)

Last Friday Chad, Chloe, & I went to Salt Lake to see the lights in Temple Square. Every Christmas the trees around the temple are lit, & it is absolutely beautiful, despite what you may see based on our camera's meager ability to take clear pictures. Enjoy- we did!

Snowman

I got the idea for this snowman & Chad made it! Well, I guess I did help pick out the wood & help paint. Don't you love our $1 DI scarf find?!

Our Christmas tree

Here is a snowflake close up- we have these blue ones, purple ones, and silver ones
One of our many snowmen- we got these wooden snowmen at Michael's & painted them. We thought it'd be cute to glue real buttons on!

Our small, but merry Christmas tree!

Ready for presents!

And then, when I was playing, I sat on a bow & it stuck to my butt! Maybe Santa put it there :-)
Sporting my butt bow & holding Rudolph!

Maybe I can unstick it if I roll around...

What? Is there something unusual on me?!
