What's your name? How old are you?!

During our trip with my family, Mike & my dad taught Chloe to answer these two questions: What's your name? and How old are you? Yay- we now have video proof :-) Enjoy!!

Chloe loves to play Ring Around the Rosie. Here is a rendition of it by herself going around Chad in a chair :-)

Fireside

Chloe & Daddy snuggling by the fire
Here's a cool fire pic that Chad took. It was definitely warm and toasty!!

Cheesers from Daddy and daughter

Sandy Babes

First, Halle ate some food and sand...
... then Chloe ate some food and sand...

... then they thought it'd be a good idea to put their heads in the sand! I love this- it's so hilarious! Chloe always puts her head down on the ground. So, she decided to after we were done eating. Halle saw her, walked over by her, and decided to try it out for herself! Wendi & I ran to get our cameras, and all it took was to tell Chloe to put her head down and Halle followed!!

More from Bear Lake

Wyatt having a ball in his floatie car!!
Candid shot of Harley.
Holy cow! Is that Gracie smiling?! This is seriously one of the first shots we've gotten of her smiling :-)
Chloe splashing in the water!
Halle loved digging in the sand

Playing in the Lake

Chloe was so giddy when she got in the water!
Anticipating the wave that was coming- she loved the waves! She kept saying, "More, more!" when one hit her :-)
Chloe & Mommy
Cousin Hayden & Owen playing water football
Happy water girl :-)

Sand, sand, and more sand!

As soon as we arrived at Bear Lake, Chloe sat down in the sand and started playing. She had sand EVERYWHERE!
Toddler toes in the sand...
Squealing while picking up and dropping handfuls of sand. She really loved playing on the beach :-)

Camping

Big smiles from Chloe! She loved playing at the campground, though she was absolutely filthy :-)
Cousin Wyatt playing with Chloe's ball. Check out that dirty mug!!

Chloe & Harley riding bikes together
On Friday, we went on a razor ride. We actually saw a pretty big 3-point buck right before this picure. He was only about 5 or 6 feet away from us, but we spooked him and weren't able to take a pic. If you look closely, you'll see a doe and two fawns to the left of her. So cute :-)

Mormon Row

Here are some pictures we took at Mormon Row. It was chance that we discovered this place- We had seen several pictures of this cool, old barn with the Tetons behind it all over Jackson, so after some online investigation, we discovered Mormon Row. It is just a road along which there are several establishments of the LDS pioneers. This barn is one of them, and it is highly photographed. There were a TON of buffalo roaming the area, and on the way in we saw a couple of pronghorn antelope, though we didn't get any pictures. It certainly was a beautiful place!

Chloe

Cheese from the table in our hotel room in Teton Village. This is a shot of her hair actually up- she didn't pull it out until much later in the day!
Chewing on a package of pepper from our McDonald's breakfast, but only for a moment while I snapped the picture. I can't imagine that she'd enjoy a mouthful of pepper- YUCK! I love how blue her eyes are in this picture; gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!

Tram ride

Chloe on the tram ride up the mountain. She liked it, I think, though she did have a death grip on my shirt almost the whole time.
A view from the top- so pretty.
The closest thing to a family picture that we've EVER had. Thanks Chad for taking one, but we are missing you. Oh, and Emily ;-)
Another view from the top.

More from Teton Park

Here's Chloe ontop of Chad! What a pasty-pale little girl!!
Chloe & Chad being silly

Here's our best attempt at a picture of the three of us. Chloe wasn't in the mood for posing at this point...

Teton National Park

This picture was taken in the park at Jenny's Lake, which we all found exceptionally appropriate!
Breathtaking...
Doesn't this picture depict exactly how we are as brother & sister?!
A beauty among beauties :-)
Chloe really liked Mike, but she didn't like the idea of him picking her up!

Taylor Family Pictures

Here is one of the millions of family pictures Chad snapped with our camera. This one was the best that we could see, despite the funny face Bri is making in the back! It proved extremely difficult to snap a great picture of everyone- too many people, well kids, to keep entertained while taking pictures!!
Here's a picture of the kids. This, too, was the one where most of the kids were looking, though Harley is absent because she was very upset!

Grandpa!

Chloe definitely enjoyed having her Grandma & Grandpa Fredericks & Uncle Mike at our house to visit! But, she was extremely fond of Grandpa. Here is a pic of the two of them shortly after their arrival :-)

Melanie's shower gifts & Chloe randomness

This is one of the gifts I sewed for Melanie & baby girl Jacobsen (they haven't come up with a name quite yet)! It's a taggie blanket. It is12''x12'' and the ribbon is satin. We bought one for Chloe, and she loved it! So, hopefully Mel's baby will too ;-)
Ta Da!! Here is Melanie's finished bag- YAY! This is the interior. As you can see, it had pleated pockets with elastic at the top and a hard divider. It was definitely a BIG project for a girl who had only sewn 4 or 5 things beforehand! Thanks to Chad's support and help, it turned out great!
Here's an exterior shot. Mel picked out the fabrics, which were terrific! The exterior is Monaluna & the interior is Kaffe Fasset shot cotton. Love it :-) Oh, and the pattern is from Amy Butler's Little Stiches for Little Ones- I like to refer to it as my "hard" book cause her patterns are not exactly beginning sewer material!
Is this a flirty look or what?!?
Absolutely gorgeous!!
