lovelies from Instagram

 {Yes, that is Berkley sitting in a play grocery basket}
 {Buck tooth Finn}
 {My sweet sewing hubby!  He literally sewed three blankets, a crib skirt, and a crib sheet- amazing!!!!!}
 {Finn got very hot snuggling with Chad}
 {Pin, cut, iron, repeat.  These girls loved play sewing!}
 {I think this is Berk's way of saying she is ready for summer.  I AGREE!}
 {Our poor, crippled Finn!  He is fully recovered, but had a little run-in with a car, which was largely his fault, but also the fault of the woman who actually was trying to drive into him}
 {Berkley testing out some accessories I got for that post-baby blah I usually feel regarding myself physically}
 {the crib skirt}
 {ta-da!  crib sheet & skirt are complete}
 {Berk was doing all the sewing with the exception of pushing the foot pedal!}
 {Cheese}
 {sweet, sewing Chloe}
{She sewed for well over a half hour this day, pushing the foot pedal and all (we had to lift it up a bit using a storage bin).  The next day she did the same.  She loves to sew!}
 {burp rags are complete (two aren't pictured, but I'm confident most of them will be seen in pictures with a baby next to them ;)}
{Ooo, yes!  This makes me very excited.  I'm not positive that everyone knows, but we'll be cloth diapering after the first couple of weeks.  It saves $$$, it feels more worth it since you're not actually throwing your money in the garbage, and it's something I've always wanted to try.  Look for a post (hopefully) that will explain more with more pictures for those of you who are thinking we are cuckoo}
 {I heart this sweet little bin.  It will hold our cloth diapers and accessories}
 {I tried out a nursing cover with Berkley.  I very much disliked it.  So, I thought I'd try making a more modern version as a nursing shawl.  We'll see how it goes!}
 {movie night @ our house.  we watched Brave.  Berkley fell asleep well before the end of the movie.  it was fun!}
{35 weeks.  Berk wanted to show off her "baby" & her undies- hahaha}

we are ALL caught up.  smiles all around :)

part trois (January into February)

Ahh, I am getting closer to being updated!  Finally....

The girls had the opportunity to dance at a JV basketball game halftime- how fun!  Chad snapped a few pictures, while I took a couple of videos (there was a slight technical difficulty with the music)- OK, so a new note about the videos: for some reason I cannot get them to download, whether it be our computer or the disc, I just can't do it. We'll keep trying, but for now here are the pictures!  Enjoy!

 {Chloe, cousin Halle, and Sydni walking out to their spots}
 {Chloe, Berkley, and some of the other girls are ready to start}
 {Some realignment was needed!  On the far right poor Taya was too sad to dance!}
 {Chloe doing her moves, while Berkley searches for us!}
 {Haha.  I love this picture because Berkley hardly ever went down when the tinys were supposed to!}
{Twisting it up!}

We've been trying to enjoy winter as much as we can, even though the snow is seriously getting on our nerves!  We just want Spring... I guess that silly groundhog has a couple of weeks left to be right!!!

 {Berkley and Chloe were super excited when we finally had a day warm enough to go out and play!  Chloe couldn't find her gloves, so socks did the trick :)}
 {Beautiful Chloe snowing it up!}
 {Sweet little Berkley watching Chad throw Finn in the snow}
 {...once their was a snowman, small, small, small!}
 {Chloe was trying to push herself on the sled on our small drifts}
{the girls decided it would be super fun to slide down into the snow}
 {Finn licking snow from his face}
 {This is the epitome of Finn- crazy, running around, carefree!}
 {32 weeks}
 {33 weeks}
{Finn sometimes feels left out, so he likes to include himself in pictures!}
 {His colors look amazing with the snow as a background}
{Berkley Bryn looking gorgeous as ever on our Taylor snow day}
 {Berk and Grace had so much fun playing and sledding!}
 {Ryker and Harley enjoying the snow}
 {Gid and Austin had a blast trying to sled as far as they possibly could!}
 {Owen and Hayden were crazy on their sleds}
 {Chad and Chloe took a spin down the hill.  Chloe quickly was done after trying to go down with Halle when she face planted!}
 {Chad & Berk- it'd be hard to know it was her without her coat and hat to give it away!}
{Oh, wait!  It is Berkley!}

As April is fast approaching we decided that there was no better time than the present to work on the baby's room.  We figure that our time will be even more limited after he arrives and who doesn't love decorating a baby/child's room?!?  I suppose we were even more thrilled to start simply because we've never been able to completely paint/decorate a baby's room since we always rented before!  So, over the course of working on his room I took various pictures.  We've painted, set up the crib, and did a little revamping of the floor.  In the next post you'll get to see a peek of some of the decor, though we're not completely done, but I will continue to take pictures until it is really done!

 {Oh, even though it hasn't been so long ago that this room was purple, I've almost forgotten what it looked like: purple walls, carpet, an unpainted closet}
 {In our attempts to take lots of pictures of the house before, we failed to take any pictures of this room before we moved in!  Then we removed a lot of awkward shelving that was in this corner and discovered that there was no carpeting underneath the shelving- oops!}
 {Well, we primed, and then after searching nursery ideas online and seeing cute wood floors we decided to tear up the carpet!  We had oodles of flooring left over from upstairs, and we love it, so we knew it would be perfect for our sweet baby boy's room}
 {Ahh, the taping.  How wonderful stripes can be!}
{It really looks intimidating, but we actually had it pretty easy thanks to yellow frog tape and a handy laser level}
 {We have stripes}
 {Berkley took a turn painting the solid gray wall}
 {and so did Chloe}
 {Then in with the flooring- Chad did an awesome job, and this room isn't too big so it went really quite quickly}
 {Painting and flooring- check!  I L.O.V.E. this room!}
{The grays look amazing together (lovely woodsmoke for the stripes and vintage gray for the solid wall), and it definitely opens up that room a ton!}

Whew!  What a ton of work updating can be :)  One more post of simple little pictures and we are up to date!!!!!!!!!!
