Chloe's 3rd birthday

Ugh! Despite my attempts to keep these in order, they never seem to cooperate! Nonetheless, the pictures are cute and that's all that matters! Plus, I figure if you're here looking at the pictures anyway, what's a little extra reading?! Here is Chloe "blowdrying" Berkley's "hair" with her hairdresser dress-up set!
This is even better: Chloe "cutting" Berkley's "hair," or dare I say lack thereof! Love it! On a side note, I have a Chloeism. She brought out these scissors and proceeded to "cut" her own hair. She looked up at me perplexed and said, "Why isn't it falling?" Haha! On another side note, I hope that you've all noticed Chloe's haircut! I think it's super cute, and we didn't do anything to it and it curled right under :-) Brittany took 4 inches off and it still seems like she has GOBS of hair!
Happily modeling her new birthday gift from us-- the look on her face when she opened it was priceless! She was so excited, likely because the last time we were in Magical Moon she saw it and said, "That's cute! I'd like that for my birthday." Yay for us!!
Chloe getting ready to blow out her 3 candles. She got two in one blow, but needed some extra air for the third.
So I just randomly took this picture of Berkley, and I actually really like it. Enjoy those big blues and full lips-- gorgeous!
This is the typical scene at Taylor family birthday parties: kids piled around the birthday girl/boy to help open gifts. Berkley even got in on the action this year, though I think she was more interested in figuring Austin out!
Princess crown cake numero uno. Please thank Chad for these beautiful and yummy cakes- I practically did nothing. What an amazing husband I have :-)
Princess crown cake numero dos. Honestly the only credit I can take is the design for this cake. I told Chad what I wanted it to look like, and he executed it perfectly! Chloe was so excited when she saw her cakes this morning (we baked and decorated them last night to have a more relaxing morning)!
The two cakes assembled on the pink wrapped board ready to be eaten!
Chloe got so many fun gifts! Before her party we video-chatted with my parents to open presents from them and Gram & Grandpa. The Greats got her a super cute nightie for her Bitty Twin doll. It came with a cute little bedtime story that Chloe carefully read to her baby- it was so cute to hear. And to top it all off, she carried the doll into her room to lay her down for bed. We heard her singing her a song and then she said a prayer with her; we heard her say, "...bless this day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!" Then she quietly snuck out of her room and closed the door. It was adorable; it made my heart melt because we always sing a song and say a prayer with her before we leave her room and close the door :-)
Here she is exploring her SUPER housecleaning set. She was super pumped....
.... in fact, here she is excited to see all the pieces!
Haha! Whoops-- totally forgot to rotate this picture. Anyhoo, this is Chloe examining her new stencils from Grandma & Grandpa "Fedicks" (yes, it is not an easy name to say for anyone, or spell for that matter)! She absolutely LOVES these. I bet she did stencils for an hour before everyone came over for her party!
A look of excitement upon seeing that the Tropical Skirt set for her Bitty Twin came with cute little flip flops! This look more or less sums up the day. Chloe was beyond excited even up until bedtime tonight. She couldn't hardly contain it, which Mike & Emily should know! They called to wish her a happy birthday and she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off! I could hardly stop her to let them say, "Happy birthday!"
Chloe loves art, as I've mentioned MANY times before. She was elated to get these fun Do-A-Dot shimmer painters from the Greats! I can't wait to try them with her and see how they turn out :-)
Berkley chewing on a plastic play fork while holding a butter packet. Well, at least she was happy ;-)
Haha! In my attempt to incorporate a dramatic play element to Chloe's birthday pary I bought a few party hats and set out some fun birthday oriented things (i.e. play cake, ice cream cones, fake wrapped presents and bags). Chloe wanted Berkley to wear a hat, so I put one on her. I left the room and came back to Chloe bringing Berkley a plate with cookies and cake on it. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "I'm playing pretend birthday with Berkley!" I thought I had better grab the camera for any hilarious occurence that could happen, and sure enough, I caught this! Too funny!!
Chloe happily holding one of her MANY balloons! I don't even know how many we have, but holy cow Mom! We'll have balloons for weeks :-)
Chloe showing off her "Princess" pin that she wore literally long enough for me to snap this picture! It lights up and everything, but it must not have been her style! Oh well, it was only a buck and at least we got this cute picture out of it :-)

Chloe had a really terrific birthday! Thanks to everyone for the cards, gifts, and love! It's so hard to believe that my little baby is 3; she's practically a grown-up. We love her so much, even all her cooky ways, and can't wait to spend the next year watching her grow and learn!!

Even without boys, we might just have a hunter...

Chad brought home a 22 that a guy at his work is selling to try out because he's thinking he might want to get one. Well, we drove up the canyon to try it out when Chloe asked if she could have a turn. Chad helped her, obviously, but shortly after it fired she starting crying. Well, we might not have a hunter yet, but I'd be willing to bet he'll get her to go when she's older!
Here is a funny Chloeism about this event:
Chloe, on the drive up: "I'm gonna shoot it in the belly!"
Me: What? A deer?!
Chloe: No. (pause) I'm going to shoot it right in the belly!
Me: Shoot what?
Chad: What are you going to shoot in the belly?
Chloe, for some odd reason: Yes....
WEIRD! It probably sounds dumb now, but it was hilarious when she said it :-)

A few pictures & Chloeism catch-up

Cheesing it up for the camera
Berkley has been SO slobbery lately. I'm praying that she ends up cutting another tooth... the one she has now is feeling a little lonely. Plus, I'm starting to feel sorry for her because she'd really like to eat more stuff, but it's hard to mash everything with gums and one tooth!!

Chloe thought it would be cute to put her Halloween costume headband on Berk! I love this picture because she looks way too sweet to have little devil horns :-) And I totally love her chubby cheeks!
Ok, so it's literally been FOREVER since I've posted any Chloeisms. In fact, I'm a little sad to say that I haven't been keeping track of them either... BOO! Anyway, there are a couple that I do actually remember! Enjoy!!
1. "Mommy, I want a baby that talks."
2. A few weeks after #1: "It would be fun to have a baby that walks."
3. In regards to the UPS guy bringing her birthday gifts:
Chloe: "What did he bring us, Mommy?"
Me: "He brought some presents for your birthday."
Chloe: "Ooo! Let's open them!"
Me: "We can't open them yet, they're not even wrapped."
Chloe: "Well let's wrap them so that we can open them!"
Me, laughing: "We can't wrap them now because they're for your birthday!"
Chloe: "Oh. I remember, it's supposed to be a surprise!!"
4. After going #2 @ Melanie J's house: "It looks like a sandcastle!"
5. On our way over to Stokes one day:
Me: "Is there a snack or a treat you'd like to pick out at the store?"
Chloe: "I'd really like some gummy bears, but not bears. Maybe like princess gummies."
Me: "I don't know if they have princess gummies."
Chloe: "Maybe I'll get some pony gummies, and they'll be red. Ponies aren't horses;they're, like, not the same, you know Mommy?"

Courtesy of Emily

What's funny is that Mike & I are wearing maroon and Chad & Em are wearing black! I didn't even notice this until now! Haha!

It was so fun hanging out with Mike & Emily on our visit! Our girls LOVE both of them :-) Thanks so much, Em, for the pictures!

Oh, the things they'll do!

Berkley loves to giggle! Here she is giggling at me taking her picture, which I didn't think was especially funny! However, it did get me a cute picture :-)
Look at my fancy dance stance!
"Whatsa tha matta wit you?" Umm, maybe the fact that you're outfit is anything BUT matching!! This girl loves clothes, but she tends to have ZERO fashion sense. I even allowed her out of the house like this (today it just wasn't a battle I was willing to pick)-- my apologies to those Stokes shoppers who had to witness this outfit! Haha :-)
I know my shot was a little off in my attempt to get her to smile (side note: have you ever tried to get a baby to smile at you with a big ugly camera hiding your face? Not so easy, which explains why the shot is off), but it sure is a cheesy one! Aww, I love her little tooth. Although we'll be sad that it will lose it's glory once she gets more, we're praying that more poke through quickly!
Lounging... Not sure how this is comfortable, but Berkley does this all the time. Chloe did too!
I'm almost certain that not a minute goes by where Berkley either doesn't have her tongue out or her mouth open!
Chloe in mid laugh-smile. What a turkey!
Okay, so you're all wondering why Berkley's little bum cheeks are hanging out....
... it's because we all smelled something funky and Chloe insisted on checking to see if Berkley pooped! As you can tell by Berkley's face, she didn't mind in the least! Ha! Luckily she didn't poop, especially for the sake of Chloe's hand!
Alright. This one can be summed up in two words: CHAD LOOK-ALIKE
To all of you who doubted that she looks like Chad (though I'm positive that there are only a few) or those who insist that she looks like me, this picture proves you WRONG! Aww, this picture just makes me smile :-)

Our Christmases... and some other random happenings

This is Chloe's 'No! Don't take my picture, Mommy!' face :-)
Berkley modeling the super cute onesie Mike & Emily got for her! Unfortunately it later fell victim to a blow-out! At least I was able to get a picture beforehand!
My especially handsome husband wearing his new glasses ;-)
A funny moment when we found out that my dad has the exact same glasses... haha!
I gave Berk some bubbles to play with, and she decided to eat them!
Chloe wanted some bubbles too! When she bent over to look at them closely she ended up with a bubble beard- hilarious!!
Berkley thought her Grandpa Fredericks was SO silly (and I think she nailed that one)!
Chloe & Grandpa
The first Mommy & Berk pic since the hospital (I know, it's crazy)!
Check out the leg roll! This little chunker is really wanting to be mobile. I think it'll happen sooner than later!
Berkley & Daddy (do they look alike or what?!)
Dare I say a not so happy Chloe? Bahaha!
Berkley seasoning her Plan Toys roller-- she loves to chew on this thing!
This is about the hammiest, most huge and hilarious cheese I've EVER seen!
What a goofy face! I just love how her little tooth just happens to pop up in these pictures!!
Beautiful, long haired Chloe!
Yeah, not really sure about this one! She's silly to say the least.
She looks so cute in her new beanie!
Just when I thought she was more like Chad, she pulls out this no eyes smile that is so much me! Love her silly face; it makes me laugh every time!
Chloe & Berkley showing off their new cupcake jammies. We have a little tradition of giving the girls jammies on Christmas Eve. We got these at Carter's, and they're super cute!!
Berkley thoroughly enjoys her frog jumper!
Chloe was extremely excited when she opened her American Girl Bitty Twin doll!!
Chloe opening gifts at our house-- she got a Moon Sand shake maker set! She loves it, but is it EVER messy!!
Chloe was so happy to get her "chelereader" outfit! Her smile is so sweet in this picture. I really love this one, but she looks so mature. My little baby is certainly growing up!
We got her to say, "Go Pirates!" I think we may end up having a cheerleader on our hands...
My sweet baby playing with a bow. Her eyes are to die for! And pair them with her beautiful full lips- she may just cause as many problems for us as her big sis likely will!
Berkley & Uncle D at Great Grandma Damerell's. Everyone thought it was so cute that she chews on that spring and pulls it all the way out!
Chloe insisted on using our Baby Bjorn as a baby carrier for her baby. It didn't fit well AT ALL, but she loved it as you can tell by her huge cheese :-)
What an incredibly fake smile! She's such a gomer!
Drool queen
Chloe adores her new slippers! They're so warm and comfy!
Berkley opening her first present ever! It was a cute pink & gray striped shirt, by the way.
