Playing Outside Again...

Yay! We must admit that we were really excited when Chloe finally started pointing with only one finger instead of her forefinger pointing with the others sticking out strangely behind it! She figured this out the day we went to the zoo, but this is the first image that captures it.
Pushing her wheel barrow around the yard!

I know it's probably hard to tell, but she's smiling in this picture! This, as you may have noticed, doesn't happen as much anymore! I only wish that I would've been more zoomed in than I was, but it wasn't like I was EXPECTING her to smile :-)
Playing with a sand tool- despite the lack of sand, we do have quite a bit of loose dirt surrounding our huge tree, which works just as well! Oh, and if you look closely, you'll see a boogie running down the right side of her nose (it'd be your left). I didn't notice this until after I took the picture- whoops!!
Digging in the dirt- she absolutely loves to scoop up the dirt and fling it in the air! She is also infamous for picking up dirt in one hand and putting it on the shovel in the other. Then, of course, she flings it!

New Fingerpaints!

Here's Chloe smiling before she even starts painting! I think it's funny to note that she didn't smile once after we started, just smirked now and then, but she was mostly concentrated on what she was doing- I guess you could say that she's a "serious" artist!
First fingers in... The consistency of these new Lakeshore paints are A LOT better than the measly Elmer's ones I bought at Alco.
She was REALLY loving this! She made a ginormous mess, but we don't usually mind messes in our house! Luckily the paint is washable, so the mess was clean very quickly! She loved just painting with her fingers until I showed her that she could put her whole hand in it, and she obviously enjoyed that more :-)

Outside in the Treehouse!

Cheese!
After she slid off the first time (we had the Treehouse inside until recently), she sort of wasn't sure what to make of the dirt and sticks she landed on...
SO MUCH HAIR!
Beauty
She's getting so big, but pictures like this make her seem still so small :-)

Enjoying Spring!

Simply adorable.
Checking out the scenery!
She's the most gorgeous toddler I've ever seen, and this picture proves it!

So sweet!
This pretzel is yummy!!

Hogle Zoo- Four birds and a turtle

Whoa! This is one HUGE turtle!!
SO cute and fuzzy :-)
Chloe loved the "dus," a.k.a any animal that looks like a bird is called a duck!
Such a vivid color :-)
Pretty pink bird- I wish I had paid more attention to the names of all these animals!!

Hogle Zoo- A few camels, a zebra, and some "kiys"

Whoops!! I forgot the giraffe!
This is the best "kiy" shot we got! The other cats were behind chain link fences that didn't make for terribly pretty pictures!
Chloe & I sitting on golden "kiys"
Zebras are simply gorgeous!

Chad didn't even want to take a picture of these camels because he said they were too ugly, but I made him anyway!

Hogle Zoo- Elephants, Rhinos, and Grandma, oh my!

This picture is fabulous! There are two Rhinos, but it looks like a two-headed Rhino.
Grandma strolling Chloe around- sorry Mom, but Chad did catch you in one shot!!
A close up of one of the elephants...
... and a full body pic!

Hogle Zoo- Primates

This little guy looks like an old, hairy, frail gremlin! Freaky!!
Cuddles
The one on the left looks like it could strike at someone, but luckily glass blocked him :-)
I love all the colors on this one- Grandma got Chloe a stuffed one! Though, Daddy liked it probably more than Chloe did!!
This little monkey looks terribly sad...

More pictures from the park...

There is a rocking duck at the park. So, here he is, and Chloe is trying without success to get onto it! It's sort of old and well used, but it's still cute! Whenever we go to the park Chloe always points to it and says, "Du, du!"
Here we are atop the big slide. Check out Chloe's little, er big belly!
Relaxing on the bench!
Such an amazingly beautiful profile...
Pounding on the bench- she started dancing right after this picture was taken. She was excited to be outside to say the least!

Merry-go-round & Teeter-totter

Weee!!!
Look at Chloe holding on tight while Daddy spins her slowly on the merry-go-round.
I'm not sure what her expression is saying, but I do know that it has to do with the fact that she was eating a pretzel at the time :-)
I love this- she looks so stinkin' cute!!

What a doll! Isn't she the cutest thing ever? Well, we're biased, but she's cute nonetheless!!

At the Park

It was so incredibly nice on Easter, so we decided to take Chloe to the park after she woke up from her nap! She loves their smaller slide, and she enjoys going down the big slide with Mommy & Daddy!
