Chloe-ism #14, 15, and an oldie but goodie

C 14:

I was in the bathroom when I heard this:
Chloe: Super Readers, I NEED the letter 's!'

C 15:

At Westside's last home football game...
Chloe, seeing the line men: Why are they holding lollipops?

Oldie, but goodie:

Chloe has the book Fifteen Animals by Sandra Boynton. All of the animals have the name "Bob." We were helping Chloe say a prayer when this was so hilariously uttered:

Me, prompting: ... in the name of
Chloe: Bob, Amen!

This Chloe-ism went on for weeks. Thankfully, she's learned from her hilarious mistake! It was so cute to hear, though :-)

Last week's happenings...

Chloe fell asleep in her swing the other day... classic!
Chloe & Taya putting things in the shopping cart!

Chloe is donning an ASSORTMENT of clothing items that belong to her, Berkley, and Taya. Believe it or not, the shirt is a 9 month top we have for Berk. The "bermudas" are actually Berkley's leggings, and the sandal on the right is Taya's. Hilarous little fashionista!
She is SUCH a slobbery baby
Aww! Love those beautiful blues :-)
Chloe & Berk playing together on the floor with Chloe's blocks. What silly girls we have :-)
What a pretty, pretty face!
My headband girls
Chloe's looks a little messy because she insisted on putting it on herself. Go figure!!
Berkley is such a fun little babe (with the exception of being gassy and, therefore, sleeping VERY crappy at night for the last 2 months). Check out her onesie, Dad. See, they do make shirts about grandpas ;-)
Chloe wanted a ponytail, two headbands, and a clip all in her hair the other day! It turned out pretty cute. Love her wrinkled up nose :-)

Chloe-ism #12 & 13

Chloe-ism 12:

On our way home from Preston the other night, Chad was explaining to Chloe where he and Kenny had gone up in the mountains to look for deer...

Chad, pointing: See that cloud on top of that mountain over there?
Chloe: Uh huh.
Chad: That's where I was this morning with Kenny looking for deer.
Chloe, with a gasp: Were you flying?!

Chloe-ism 13:

Chad got home from work when Chloe blessed us with this one ;-)

Chad: Hi Sis.
Chloe: Do you have boobs, Daddy?

Carrots!

Berk thought the carrots (that I still believe smell exactly like tomatoes) were YUMMO!
Here she is eagerly awaiting her next bite! She got so much all over her face because she kept getting so excited to eat them that she'd go to close her mouth and turn her head with a happy face- hilarious!

Silly sisters

Popcorn loving princess!!
I laid Berkley down on the couch next to Chloe while I went to the bathroom. I came back to find them "lounging" together

An afternoon at "Daddy's park"

While playing at the park, Chloe discovered the water spout behind the water fountain and ended up SOAKING wet! It was funny & cute! Love this color on her- stunning!!

Cousin Austin, Harley, & Grace at the drinking fountain
Chloe and Halle-- these two are really becoming great friends!!
My sweetie
More than cousins... friends :-)

A Chloe & some BIG Berkleys

Despite her ability to push EVERY button I have and go from a sweet angel to a complete terror in a blink of an eye, I LOVE this little girl with all my heart! And that smile can melt it, too. Today she said a couple of really cute things to me that I'll share here. 1) "Are you Mommy Taylor, Mommy?" and 2) "I want to be a Mommy some day just like you!"
Hypnotized by the camera

Don't you just want to kiss those chunky little, er big, cheeks?!?
I love her little "Taylor" ears-- they stick out just a little bit (though some of the Taylors' ears stick out pretty big) and it's so stinkin' cute!!
Today we took Berk in for her 4-month well visit. She is off the charts all the way around!! She weighs in at 16lbs 12oz and is 26 1/4 inches long! No wonder my arms have been getting tired holding her all the time :-)

Darling Daughters

BIG bubbles!
What a darling smile :-)
Oh my, Berk! What a Chad-look-alike!
Chloe telling me NOT to take her picture!
So incredibly sweet!

Chloe-ism #9, 10, & 11

I hope these three will catch us up completely with Chloe's funny sayings!

Also on the way home from Austin's party, we stopped at the Sinclair in Smithfield to grab some drinks for the ride home. A car pulled up next to us.

Chloe: That boy was in that car, Mommy.
Me: Yes he was.
Chloe, noticing another guy leaving the same car with exceptionally long hair: What kind of girl is that, Mommy?

Melanie & Taya came over to visit us on Thursday, and we had a super fun time! They came before I had a chance to bath Chloe, so we gave her one while they visited. On the way out of the tub to get dressed Chloe had a look of panic on her face. Before I could ask what was wrong she said, "I just peed." OOPS! It was just funny that she said it so honestly. You had to be there to really appreciate it!

After enjoying a yummy lunch, I told Mel that she was welcome to any of the treats we had in our Halloween basket. She chose Junior Mints, and Chloe promptly asked her what she was eating...
Melanie: It's a Junior Mint. They're so good. It's chocolate on the outside, and the white stuff in the middle is mint!
Chloe, thinking that anything with chocolate on the outside and white in the middle is an Oreo: Can you take the brown off?
- HILARIOUS! She only likes the filling on Oreos and this apparently transfers to Junior Mints!!

Chloe-ism #8 & 9

Here are some transportation related chloe-isms:

Chloe is being a grand-master tricyler :-) On our walk/ride the other day, I kept saying things like "way to go" and "you're doing so great." We we almost home, and both of us were tired and ready to be done...
Me: Way to go, Chloe! You're doing awesome.
Chloe, matter-of-factly: No, Mommy. You're supposed to say, 'Come on, Chloe.'
- I guess she thought that was more appropriate giving the fact that we'd be out for almost an hour!

Wednesday was our nephew's birthday, and on the way home Chloe saw a sign with a tiger. After rambling on about tigers for a few minutes, she said the following: "Lions don't like when we ride in cars." RANDOM!!

Super fun stuff

Oo! A new first for Berkley: cereal!!! As expected, this little chubs LOVES cereal. She loves to eat, to say the least!
Yum!! (Please excuse the enormous mess on our table-- we hadn't cleaned up our dinner before Berk had hers!)
Going on a walk with Daddy in the Baby Bjorn! She loves this thing :-)

Our Beautiful Berkley

Bubbles of joy to be playing outside! This girlie is going to be VERY diasppointed when winter comes-- she is a summer girl all through and through!
Love this little squirt!!
What a silly face :-) Doesn't she look stunning in this color?!
