Chloe-ism #2

My great friend Melanie and her daughter Taya came to visit us today. The first words out of Chloe's mouth when they arrived were these: "I pooped a big one, Taya!"

A Look Back: Past Chloe-isms

So, I decided all to late to start recording Chloe's hilarious sayings, but I thankfully remember some of the oldies, but goodies. Here are a few that I've remembered:

After SEVERAL times of being asked to put her shirt down in different terms (by Chad), Chloe had this to say when Berkley haphazardly grabbed onto her shirt, pulling it up to expose her belly: "I said put your shirt down!"

At Dr. Fower's office a few months before having Berkley, Chloe was playing with one of their office toys. We were called back and she freaked because she didn't want to leave the toy. Here was our conversation in front of the nurse:
Chloe, crying: "I want that phone, Mommy!"
Me: "I know, but we've got to go back now. You can play with it later."
Chloe, becoming beligerant: "NO! I want to take it!!"
Me: "Chloe, we need to leave it. But, I have your baby in my bag. Do you want that instead?"
Chloe: "Uh-huh."
-The nurse starts talking to me, while Chloe gets impatient-
Chloe: "I want my freakin' baby!!"

The last week re-cap

What a tasty hand! Berkley has just recently discovered her hands; she LOVES to chew on them :-)
Hilarious
Goofy girls
Definitely her daddy's daughter
Too cute :-)
The last week has been sort of like a circus, to say the least. I sold my cute, fun, sporty Mazda 3 because it has grown FAR too small for our family to comfortably go anywhere. In exchange, we bought a 2007 Jeep Compass 4x4 Limited that gives us more room &, therefore, more comfort. We love it, but I must admit I was super sad to see my Mazda go!
Berkley had her 2 month well-visit, though it was actually a 3 month (Dr. McKenna was out of the office for vacation and adopting a baby from China). She is 14lbs. 9oz and 24 inches long. Dr. McKenna said she looks great, is healthy, and growing so well. After having Chloe and problems nursing I would have never imagined all the positive comments Dr. McKenna would give me regarding Berkley and her weight gain :-) She did have shots, but she took them like a champ!
We had 2 great days last week and 2 terrible days. Thankfully we always have good with the bad. And that is why I absolutely love posting; it gives me the opportunity to REMEMBER & CHERISH the happy times we share with our two amazing daughters!

Chloe-ism #1

After much contemplation and discussion, I decided that I should really be documenting some of the hilarious things Chloe says & does. Thanks to Tricia and her blogger friend I decided to call these things Chloe-isms. Hopefully you'll all enjoy them as much as we do :-)

Chloe-ism #1:
Chloe-- "What was that noise?"
Me-- "I don't know. I didn't hear anything."
Chloe-- "I think it was one of those squitos (meaning mosquitoes) outside saying "SQUITO!!!"
Me, laughing-- "Is that what they say?"
Chloe-- "It is!"

Our two darling daughters

Aww, what sisterly love!
Love both of their weird expressions, especially Chloe's face! Haha :-)

Gorgeous!! Don't you just love this clip?! It's so cute on her!
Chloe playing in the sand at Bear Lake
We decided that since Chloe was about 11 weeks old when she first sat in the bebePOD that we should do the same for Berkley! She loves it, but still tends to go to one side or the other :-)
Our lovely little lady Berk!
Happy to be sisters :-)
Holding hands. I think this picture is beautiful because they both have such sweet looks on their faces. We love these girls SO much! Oh, how darling are they?!

Ah goos

Silly Happy

Ah, ah, ah CHOO! Chad caught this sneeze at the perfect moment :-)
Big smile!

Happy double chin (er, is that a triple I see beneath the larger second?! I think so)
Too funny!

Camping

The barn on Mormon Row outside of Jackson
Chloe playing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" on the side of the barn :-)
This is a picture of a wicked caterpillar we found. He looks cool, but he was sort of a bully. I tried to touch him and it's almost as if he tried to bite me-- both Chad & Christine got the same response. At least he was fun to watch!
SO cute! It almost looks like a cheerleading move :-)
A bald eagle across the Snake River from our campground. In fact, there were two Golden eagles and this Bald eagle flying around while we were there!
Our attempt at a family picture. It was really sunny and way windy, so this was the best we could do!

Swim Party

Here's a cropped picture of a Taylor grandkids picture of our two girls! Too cute! And I must say that I love that Berkley doesn't mind the grass at all :-)
This is the best picture of the group (minus Amanda) that Chad snapped. Not everyone is smiling, but at least everyone is looking :-) Trying to take a good picture of this many kids is next to impossible!!
Owen and Hayden showing off their "guns." It's hard to believe that these two will be turning six!
Cute little Ryker! He's 4 months older than Berkley for those of you who were wondering.
Chloe & Harley playing in the pool
What a gorgeous smile in her teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini!
Her "attempt" at doing the slip 'n' slide was to slowly walk down it and gracefully fall into the small pool at the end! It was hilarious to see :-)

Two Berkleys and a Chloe

Silly babe
Chunky cutie
What a doll!!
