We made Chloe her own birthday cake!

The ice cream cone cupcake cake- I think it turned out really great!Chloe wasn't sure what to think of her birthday cake! She didn't want anything to do with it, though we think it was because she wanted to get down and play with her toys & cousins. Plus, she doesn't have a sweet tooth- weird!

Chloe doesn't look terribly happy because her teeth were bugging her when we were opening gifts. Sounds somewhat like Christmas day... she picks bad days to have teething issues.

Here's what happened when we first sent her into the front room to recieve her gifts from Great Grandma and Grandpa Damerell....
It never ceases to amaze us that Chloe has changed so much over the first year of her life. Here she is on the day she was born- she's just as beautiful now as she was that day :-)
He was totally in awe of her, and I know he still is today!
She was so small, though she didn't seem like it at the time. Now she's huge, & I now understand why everyone told me to not worry about her crawling or walking early because part of me wishes we could go back to this day and relive it all over again.

I look like spring in the wintertime- hopefully spring gets here fast!Chad was playing a fun game with Chloe the other night. He'd call for her from another room & she'd try to find him. To her surprise, he would be hiding around the corner! It was hilarious to see her jump & then fall to the floor laughing at Chad.
While we were back in Illinois, my dad decided to give Chloe a pickle. This video shows what she thought of it :-)
