Sewing

Yep, you guessed it (if you didn't already know)! I'm sewing now- in fact, Chad talked me into getting a sewing machine. By the time I'm done (oh, I've got TONS of projects I want to do), our money will be WELL spent. This is one of the first things I've sewn- a cute head scarf! I LOVE the pattern- for those of you who are interested it's Anna Maria Horner from her Good Folks collection :-)
Climbing on her lawn chair. She loves her scarf, she calls it a hat!
So adorable!!

Randomness

Ok, there's really no good, er short, way to explain this. So, please bear with me!! This is Jay, our landlord's pet crow. Yes, I said "pet." He really is an awesome little guy- Lance & Misti have had several crows, and they told us that they can be trained to come home and have the brain capacity to say 5-10 words! Crazy!! Lance, Misti, and the kids went camping this week, so Jay's been hanging out in our yard. He likes me (I can even pet him) and Chloe, though she's not always sure about him, but he really doesn't care for Chad! It's like a freakin' zoo here :-)
Wanting to get the camera and practicing "cheese!"
Here's Chloe attempting to give Casper (Chloe calls him "Capper") a kiss! Chloe always seems a little more willing, though he's been known to give her a big, wet smacker on occassion!
Smiling while holding her beloved kitty
So beautiful! Check out how long her hair is getting on the sides! LOVE IT!

More mowing in the yard...

Here's Chloe mowing, just like Daddy :-)
Even pretend mowing is A LOT of work. I guess she thought she needed to cool off. Ha!
Chloe pushes this mower from the front gate to the back over and over when we play outside! She loves it!

Being Silly

While folding some laundry, Chloe played in her room. This is what she was doing... putting swimming suit bottoms and bloomers on her head!
Big CHEESE!!!!!

Willow Park

Wednesday most of the Taylor cousins met to play at Willow Park in Logan. Here's Chloe climbing the stairs. Looking at all that hair makes me laugh, but also sympathize because I know how hot thick, heavy hair can get!!
Cousin Halle looking at Chloe at the other end of the tunnel- these in the tunnel turned out pink from the lighting, so sorry!!
Chloe's telling Halle something, but I'm not sure what!
Taking a breather on one of the climbing bars... It was actually pretty warm in the sun!

Swinging away!

The Stick

I cannot really explain why Chloe's spoon is on the table (left) and why she chose to eat her applesauce with this stick. All I know is that she brought the stick in with her when supper was ready, the rest is anyone's guess!!

Split peas & the sensory table

Here is Chloe's long awaited sensory table! We finally were able to buy all the materials to make one, and Chloe couldn't be more excited! And Tomi, our next door neighbor, couldn't be happier either! Here they are playing with the split peas :-)
As with all young toddlers, Chloe decided to taste the split peas, which she found were not as tasty as they appeared...
Focused- something you don't always capture young children being :-)

First Pool

Chloe was a little hesitant when she was first in the pool, which is a whale (so cute!), but she eventually felt more comfortable! She especially loved playing with the beach ball in the water!

Lawn Mower

Chloe LOVES her new lawn mower Grandma & Grandpa Fredericks gave her, despite the fact that she's not overly happy in these photos!! She was distracted by Chad getting the lawn mower ready...
