Baby Love

Ever since I started wrapping Chloe's baby, she wants it wrapped all the time! Here she is running after I wrapped the baby and gave it to her...
"Uh oh" Good thing this baby isn't real!!
Recently Chloe's shown an interest in wrapping babies herself. She's probably thinking, 'How does this thing go?!'
Giving the baby a 'love'- we call a hug a 'love'
SMOOCH!

Swing!

Because the weather was nicer last week, we went ahead and bought Chloe a swing to go in the BIG tree in our yard. Unfortunately, it was horrible weather this last week, so the swing made it's home in our front room. She loved crawling up in it and playing!

Rice!

Chloe has never had an experience with rice before, and since the infants I worked with at USU seemed to enjoy it, we gave it a try!
Yep- there was always a taster at Lab, too! Judging by the look on her face, it must not taste very good :-)
Picking up some that she dropped on the floor- what a fabulous helper!!
Here's a visual of the entire situation. It took several slides of the vaccuum to clean all of that up. There was VERY little in the container at this point...
She's trying and failing at at getting the rice off of her hands. Spit and rice don't mix! She has the evidence on her chin :-)

Typical, average, everyday

Here's Chloe sitting on Chad's chair. She figured out just the other day that she could climb onto it! Now we can't keep her off :-)
What a fake smile!
Chloe is trying with all her might to get into and sit down in her new doll stroller! Only my Mom will appreciate these pictures more than I do :-) I was on the phone with her when Chloe first started her attempts, and I was laughing so hard that I had to hang up and call her back! These are for you Mom, though they don't hardly do the situation justice!!

Chad's Photography

This is my personal favorite.

He's really enjoying our camera, and he loves to play around with the settings. They're just fun and good, I think, so I wanted to post them. Hope you all enjoy :-)

Play Outside

She's always been so attune to sounds outside.
Playing with a "ball," a.k.a rock!
Drawing in the dust on the sidewalk...
Watching the cars go by.
The kitty came back to visit again. I thought this picture was really cute since they're both looking the same direction!

Kitty!

This is Chloe when she first noticed Lance & Misty's kitty was coming to visit us.
"Kiy"- she and this kitty made really good friends!
Playing in the grass. It's finally drying up!
Beautiful...
Walking the sidewalk with kitty :-)

Fun for Days!

Chloe truly enjoys "dressing up!" This shirt of mine is her favorite.
She's mastered putting shirts over her head!
Who's under there?!
Wearing green on St. Patrick's Day. Look how red her hair looks- so fitting for the occassion!!

Here's Chloe sleeping after church on Sunday- she was zonked!! We've never seen her sleep with her arm between the crib rungs- hilarious!!

Stacking Blocks

Chad & I were busy doing I can't remember what while Chloe was playing by herself. This is when we noticed that she was quiety sitting on the lid of her Little People Builders' box and stacking her big legos. She does a great job fitting the pieces together!!
All I can say is ouch! I don't know how this girl manages to squat for long periods of time, but she does :-)
What Dad? Can't you see I'm eating my legos?!

I WANT my Nike's on!

This morning Chloe woke up early, which has nothing to do with the title of this post, but I just thought I'd add that! She brought me her Nike's shortly after waking up and said, "Uh." This means that she wanted them on in Chloe terms! So, we took some pictures because we thought she looked so hilarious in her jammies and Nike's!

Randoms

I'm not quite adept at using our new(er) camera yet, but these pictures are just me playing around with the different settings. Obviously, none of them are outstanding as she is NEVER looking at the camera. Though, I do enjoy them because they capture different aspects of her that I love.

Fingerpaint

Chloe fingerpainted for the first time a few days ago. She loved it, as you can probably all tell! First, she had to taste it, which we discovered is not the greatest. Then, she wiped it all over her belly. And, finally, she made marks on the page! I love the last picture- she looks so proud of herself :-)
