You may be wondering why I wrote trip in " "... well, our trip wasn't quite the trip we hoped for, but it was one nonetheless! We did get some shopping done that we needed-- a stop at Carter's, down to Ikea, and obviously a trip to our much beloved Lakeshore.
And, if you haven't already figured it out, we went swimming in our hotel! We just love Chloe's little suit, though her pose doesn't showcase the cuteness of the suit as well as actually seeing it in person. I love her expression in the bottom picture, and if you look closely, you'll see that she has pizza all over her face because someone other than myself was in charge of having her clean up after dinner!! The pool was much less eventful than our last experience, and we were able to swim in the "big pool." Chloe had a blast!
We had planned on going to Hogle Zoo, but the weather was too cold and rainy/snowy. Yeah, I know, it's terrible for it to be the 1st of May and have winter weather. Oh spring, how I yearn for thee!!
