 Berkley is cheesing it super big, likely because on this day, she had her very first full blown pony!

 So, the weather totally turned on in the last month-- the picture above and the ones at the very top were taken within a couple of weeks' time.  Crazy!!  Chloe is covered in sidewalk chalk paint (thank you, Pinterest)!  The girls enjoyed this so much on a smokin' hot day :)

What is probably more embarrassing than having my girlies always looking like they come from a very dirty home (Berkley especially, that girl is ALWAYS dirty) is the fact that we actually went to Preston to grab a pizza from Smokey Joe's (ahh, it is so delicious that it makes me hungry for one by simply typing this) afterward!  

Even though you may see me with dirty, paint covered, marker written, milk mustached, sand showered, chocolate stained children, I want you all to know that it simply means that we have been having fun and doing what children do best: playing :)

We bought a home!

OK, so I realize that this post (along with all the others I will be posting) are severely overdue, but unfortunately, I only have so much time to do little extra things throughout my days!

So, you're all (well, at least those of you who haven't already been to visit) likely wondering why I've only posted a picture of the front (and it's not the entire front, either) of our house.  Well, I'd like to do a post later in the week featuring before/afters to show how it has changed.  Hold on to your seats, and trust me, I know this will be difficult, and soon enough you'll get to see the rest of the house (and our ENORMOUS yard)!

Owning a home has literally been exactly what we imagined: fantastic!  It has meant hours of work and several of stress, but it has paid off thus far.  It still needs a lot of work (and paint and furniture and plants and touch-ups and wall decor, oh and cleaning), but we are slowly getting to where we'd l.o.v.e it to be!

I think I finally feel like a true grown-up now that I own a home.  Haha, being married, graduating from college, and having two beautiful girls did make me feel adult-like, but having a home to call my own has been a dream of mine for the last six years!  We finally made it :)

I just want to thank all of you, you know who you are, for your help, support, and work (plus everything in between)!  We love you all so much and will eternally be grateful for your aid.....

Slowly, surely

I am certain many of you who follow my blog have lost faith that I will EVER blog again.  Yes, we have realized owning a home in the middle of spring means tons of work, so this sweet little blog has just slipped to the wayside.

This is my feeble attempt at updating it, piece by piece, mind you, so please hold on and keep hoping that one day I will finally catch up!  I hope my new layout, background, and buttons make you smile!  Now to update my pictures and post, post, POST.

There have been oodles of things to post about, so it will take quite a bit of time and effort on my part, but this is my new goal: to be completely updated by the end of June.  Cross your fingers, and maybe, just maybe, I can do this :)
