Seat

Here's Chloe standing in front of her seat (we bought her a little lawn chair because she was loving ours, so we thought she'd enjoy one of her own)! Don't you just adore this little outfit- denim shortalls are fabulous for little girls :-)
Being silly in her seat- we call it a seat because she does. The first night we had it, she cried when it was time to get off of the seat and come inside to go to bed!!
CHEESE!!!

Summer Day

Chloe loves climbing up into her stroller! She's such a monkey :-)
First you crawl in, then you sit down, and finally you put the console down!
I can't remember what she was saying or looking at, but it's a funny expression nonetheless!!
I love, love, love this cute little summer outfit! It was in the eighties that day, so cool and comfortable was what we were going for.

Cereal

Eating some cereal! She LOVES frosted flakes!
After her bath, Chloe decided to help herself to some cereal...
... and most of it ended up on the floor!!

Playing

Eating some pretzels lounging on the floor!
Sort of smiling, sort of smirking while playing on her rocking elk.
Is that an Uncle Mike expression or what?! And, she has his floppy hair to go with it :-)

Dirt!

Saturday morning we all headed outside to weed where our tulips are and where we'll put some more flowers soon. Chloe LOVED playing in the dirt, if you couldn't tell by the picture! She even enjoyed eating the dirt :-) It was a lot of fun!!

Bubbles

While I was doing dishes the other morning, Chloe wanted to play with some. So, we gave her a handful, and she decided to try eating them!!
They must have tasted relatively good because she ate all of them and wanted more :-)

New Seat

After pulling off the ball basket and the wooden block basket, Chloe decided to try sitting on the shelf of our entertainment center (if you can call it that)! In this picture, she tried crouching on it and standing up. It's obvious that her attempt failed, and she bonked her head!!
Here she is actually sitting and playing with blocks that you can see arranged behind her. You can see how she felt about me trying to get her to smile.
Alas, success in the smile department! Not only did she smile, but you can see her teeth! WOW! Enjoy this because it is very, very rare!

First Dam

Chloe is pointing at one of the many ducks down at first dam. We decided since it was a beautful day that we'd have a picnic there and feed the ducks, or "dus" as Chloe calls them! This picture makes her look pasty, pasty pale, but I guess it's not far from the truth :-)
Here she is again just walking around, enjoying the day! She loved running in the grass (no surprise, huh Mom?! As you said, she doesn't walk anywhere, she runs)!!
Today was this duck's lucky day- he got all of the food we had!
Chloe was a little hesitant, as always, to feed the ducks. She felt much more comfortable sitting on my lap. Here she is throwing the duck some bread, which he greatly appreciated! Just an interesting side note that I forgot to mention earlier- Chloe knows this place very well even though we've only been three times. As soon as we pulled in she said, "Du, du!" I think she'll forever know Chad's work place as the duck place because it's so close to where we feed the ducks! Too cute!!

Flowers

Here are some pictures of flowers at Chad's parents' house. Chad wanted to test out the camera and his skills! We think they turned out great!

More fun at the Park

Wee on the merry-go-round!
Here's my attempt at catching Chloe & Harley both looking at the camera. Unfortunately, neither of them were, but Chloe was smiling at Shari.
At least I got two out of three in this one! I think Chloe was distracted by Owen loudly exclaiming, "CHEESE!"
A big cheeser and no eyes- I can relate, Harley!!
Shari helping Owen clear the monkey bars

Fun at the Park

Chloe & Cousin Owen- he insisted that I take a picture of the two of them. I'm glad I listened cause it's super cute!!
Here's Owen on a seat in the middle of the playground equiptment. He explained to me that this seat was great because if you got tired of playing you could take a break :-)

My beautiful todder girl!!
She absolutely loved climbing the stairs! No surprise there...

Cousin O and Harley cheesing it up!

Choo Choo

Duck, Duck, Chloe! These pictures were taken on the wooden play train of our Landlord's parents (they live behind us for those of you who didn't know).
Driving the wooden car!
Chloe loved sitting on the seat, but she wished it was close enough to the steering wheel to sit and steer!!
Beauty! Like her outfit?! She picked it out all on her own :-)
Pointing to the 'kiy'

This is what happens...

...when you go to cook supper and attempt to preoccupy your child! I was making dinner and had put Chloe up on the table while I worked at the table. I turned around for one minute and forgot that I had left her Banana Nut Cheerios box on the table. Just as I heard the sound of the box being picked up, I turned around to find Cheerios ALL OVER! Oh well! At least she had fun eating them :-)

Stacking Blocks

Here's Chloe before the stacking- chec out that slobber!!
Here's one tower she started building. She quickly decided that a square block could not fit ontop of a pinapple shapped block!
Tall, tall tower! Chloe absolutely loves to build with her blocks- especially her wooden ones! She also enjoys stacking her big soft blocks and putting her giant lego-type blocks together. Chloe always stacks 4 blocks and often she is able to stack 5- yay, she's right on according to the Bayley!! For those of you who don't know what the Bayley is, it's a developmental assessment. I'm referring to the cognitive portion that says a child her age should typically be able to stack 4 blocks- woohoo!!

Dayton Canyon

After Bri & Wendi told us about a waterfall they found up Dayton Canyon (sorry, I can't remember the exact name of the spot where it was- Chad would probably be disappointed!!), we decided to go and check it out. Granted, it is small, but we thought it was pretty!
See how the water path is fuzzy? That's Chad's camera skills kicking in :-)
More of the waterfall...
Here's an even closer picture of the water. I'm not positive, but I think Chad gets the fuzzy white water effect from the shutter speed- I let him figure out all of that special stuff and I just take simple pictures!

Chad decided that it wouldn't be right if we didn't leave without a picture of the two of us! I think we might actually try to go up there on a warmer day (as you can see we were wearing our winter coats) and take family pictures. Only time will tell! Keep checking in to see if we do or not :-)
